EUROPEAN INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL

Paris – France
March 29 to 31, 2013
Upcoming Deadline: December 16

The 8th Annual ÉCU – The European Independent Film Festival is a spirited celebration of remarkable filmmaking and one of Europe’s most treasured cinematic events. The festival showcases the best indie films from around the world to large international audiences every year in Paris and also hosts screenings of it’s award-winning films in another 20 countries during it’s ÉCU-On-The-Road tour. In less than a decade, the festival has unearthed many cinematic gems and has helped further the careers of hundreds of indie filmmakers.

Each submitted film is evaluated across 15 categories – seven of which are open to non-European filmmakers – and competes for 25 coveted awards. Prizes vary from year to year, but are donated by partners like G-Technology, Lomography, and Final Draft. The jury is made up of internationally acclaimed filmmakers and film professionals, including French actress Ludivine Sagnier. If you’re looking to maximize the visibility of your work and connect with professionals at the top of their craft, you’ll find incredible networking and exposure opportunities at ÉCU – The European Independent Film Festival.
