Come party with us on the red carpet as we are celebrate the 19th year of SAFILM in the Alamo City. Nothing compares to the explosion of independent film in the heart of San Antonio for five fantastic days as well as at 3 Santikos Theaters throughout the Alamo City, from June 19-23, 2013.In 2012, SAFILM garnered outstanding media coverage from local television, radio and newspapers, including extensive coverage from our major sponsor, the San Antonio Express-News. Overall, the festival screened 138 films on 6 screens.Media cover not just the festival and celebrities, but the films that make it into SAFILM: your work will get a ton of area news coverage – INCLUDING TELEVISION, NEWSPAPER, RADIO, BILLBOARD, WEB and FACEBOOK coverage. San Antonio film critics regularly review numerous feature and short films for the festival providing filmmakers with even more opportunities to receive special attention for their entries. Do all festivals give you this? We do!

Director & Former Alumni Chris Brown says, “Without the early and passionate support of the San Antonio Film Festival, Fanny, Annie & Danny may never have enjoyed the success that it’s had. The whole SAFILM team couldn’t have been kinder or more welcoming. They made us feel like family from the moment we arrived.”

With SOLD OUT SCREENINGS, SPONSORED AFTER-PARTIES, and STRONG COMMUNITY SUPPORT, the San Antonio Film Festival is still grassroots — but recognized as the place to find the newest talent.

Another huge plus: This is an affordable film festival – SAFILM works with the top local hotels for special rates for our guests, so attendees can take advantage of DISCOUNTED FESTIVAL HOTELS AND RESTAURANTS within walking distance of our busiest venues.
