SCALA AND THE KOLACNY BROTHERS – MY DECEMBER

The challenge of using animation to represent this emotional song was huge, but very rewarding.

As an animator I found the freedom of using images to complement the music instead of the other way around. A very strange but wonderful experience, because I could see my story build and unfold to the natural rhythm of the song. It became more and more compelling to incorporate my dreams and thoughts into the finished project. I know in my heart it made my December a very special one and it was a kind of magic.
