The 3rd Annual iD Fest offers an exciting array of screenings, previews, professional seminars, filmmaking exhibitions, and much more, all from Derby’s center for art and film. United by a central theme of “Family,” this year’s iD Fest promises to be bigger, better, and even more inspiring than its first two editions. An industry event small enough to allow each participant to have a sizable impact on audiences, but large enough to promote dialogue and networking opportunities with even Oscar-nominated filmmaking professionals, iD Fest offers an ideal festival experience for talented filmmakers eager to be discovered.

Each selected film will be evaluated by a panel of industry professionals and considered for the Best of Fest Award. The award-winning film will be able to display iD Fest’s accolade on all promotional materials and will receive a testimonial from iD Fest directors for promotional use. Last year’s highlights included live appearances by Mike Hodges (Get Carter, Flash Gordon), Brian Blessed (Star Wars: Episode I), and Oscar-nominated production designer Eve Stewart (The King’s Speech).
